It Came from Cambridge; Volume 2
Fuse, a local registered charity, is proud to be presenting the second volume of It Came From Cambridge, now featuring a collection of poems. Please read below for more information on the submission process and what happens in the event your submission is selected for the collection.
Submission criteria and details:

Submissions to the collection must be submitted via this form.

The submitting poet must be a resident of Cambridge

New and established poets welcome
-
Only one poem may be submitted per poet

The poem must be an unpublished work
-
The poem must be suitable for children: the collection is family-friendly

There is no charge to submit a poem

The poem should be formatted following the guidelines below

The deadline for submission is February 22nd, 2025 at 12:00pm

A panel of 3 people will review the submissions. Your story will only be shared with these 3 people for the purposes of the review

You will be notified by no later than 3 weeks after the deadline if your story has been accepted. Only those whose submissions were accepted to this volume of short stories will be contacted

Single line spacing

Double-space between stanzas

Maximum number of lines is 40

Minimum number of lines is 12

Files must be submitted in a Microsoft Word Document format

In the event your poem is accepted:

Poets whose poems are chosen to be in the book must attend the Release Party on April 4th, 2025 at the Old Post Office, Cambridge from 6:30pm-8:00pm and read their poem.

You will be given a complimentary copy of the book

You will have the option to purchase poet (wholesale copies) from Fuse

The book will be published and sold on Amazon worldwide

This project is designed as a community outreach initiative, and should not make a profit. If a surplus from the project does occur, it will be put towards a future arts project in Cambridge by Fuse.
